The Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones (TIDZ) has fully implemented the planned budget to support companies operating within the technological-industrial development zones. The figures also show that as of November, we are close to a total export of three billion euros, and the final data will be published in early 2022, informed the director of TIDZ, Jovan Despotovski at today's press briefing.

- I can say with pleasure that we even had the same case again with two companies as last year, which prematurely fulfilled the obligations in terms of achieving the number of employees, to meet the state. Additionally, we met several companies that had difficulties due to the global crisis in the area of ​​chip procurement and production downtime, says Despotovski.

According to the analysis made for the past ten years, Despotovski added that TIDZ has a very stable growth of revenues and profits in companies, the number of employees has increased significantly, and the average salary has increased.

"I am optimistic that we will have a record year in terms of exports, a stable level of employment and for the first time we will have a situation in which the average salary of companies in the zones will be higher than the average salary of the national economy," he said.

The director of TIDZ stressed that the trends in the global context are closely monitored, and it is in their interest for the companies not only to maintain the current level of growth, but also to further intensify it in the coming period. He added that companies that have faced difficulties due to the global crisis are balancing the loss with new facilities, which not only offset that decline, but also contribute to the additional intensity of development.
