Dendias is visiting Skopje today
The head of Greek diplomacy Nikos Dendias is today on a one-day visit to Northern Macedonia, and is scheduled to meet in Skopje with Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, to be received by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and to attend a working dinner organized by Osmani and Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Maricic, said MIA correspondent from Athens.
-During the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the talks are expected to focus on the full, consistent and well-intentioned implementation of the Prespa Agreement, on the further strengthening of bilateral relations in all areas, including economy, trade and energy, as well as on the European perspective of Northern Macedonia. Additionally, the talks are expected to cover the developments in the Western Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the situation in Ukraine after the Russian invasion, the Greek Foreign Ministry said ahead of Dendias' visit.
According to the agenda, after the meeting with Osmani, statements for the media will follow in the afternoon.
This is Dendias's third visit to Northern Macedonia, the first was in November 2019, the second in August last year, and Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani visited Athens in January 2021.
