The delegation from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces laid flowers in front of the memorials of the fallen defenders near Ljubotenski Bachila.

In memory of the defenders who died in 2001 near Ljubotenski bachila, a delegation from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Army led by the chief, Lieutenant Colonel General Vasko Gjurchinovski and the State Secretary, Elizabeta Chupovska Ristova, today laid wreaths of fresh flowers in front of the memorials of the fallen defenders in the village of Volkovo, the village of Ljubanci and in front of the memorial plaque in the "Ilinden" barracks.

As informed by the Ministry of Defense, previously, a delegation from the General Staff of the Army laid flowers in front of the memorial of the fallen defender Tomislav Nastevski in the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov.

- Members of their families and delegations from the office of the President and the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, from the Government, from the Municipalities of Gjorce Petrov and Butel, civil associations and organizations and representatives of political parties also laid fresh candles in honor of the fallen defenders at the memorials from the ministry.

On this day, 23 years ago, Tome Badarovski, Gotse Chankulovski, Branko Janev, Tomislav Nastevski, Marjancho Boskovski, Ivica Zlatevski, Tome Dimoski and Rade Jankovski lost their lives on the road near Ljubotenski bachila, members of the reserve army.
