A delegation of Macedonian Bulgarians is going to Sofia, they will seek support from Radev and Petkov

A delegation of Bulgarians from Macedonia, composed of representatives of Bulgarian organizations and associations from the country, will be in Sofia these days.

It is in the Bulgarian media announced that they will have meetings with the President Rumen Radev, the Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of political parties.

- Our main goal is to acquaint the Bulgarian political elite with our problems and difficulties we face in everyday life in our country. At the same time, we will openly ask the issues that we believe should be resolved in the near future, said the leader of GDU, Petar Kolev, who will participate in the talks in the Bulgarian capital.

The Bulgarians from Macedonia will also ask for information about the negotiation process between the two countries, because "it directly affects them today and in the near future."

- It is not only about protecting our rights, but also about protecting our cultural and historical past. For the past of our ancestors. We will not miss the issue of our inclusion in the Constitution of RSM - as a nation-building nation. For the last question, "I want to clarify that this is not about minority rights, but about the rights of the Bulgarians from RSM," he added.

In January, President Stevo Pendarovski met with a delegation of Macedonians from the Macedonian associations from Bulgaria, and the meeting was negatively received by the Bulgarian authorities.

Part of the delegation of Macedonian Bulgarians in Sofia will be representatives of the Cultural Center "Ivan Mihajlov" - Bitola, the association "Tribuna" - Prilep, the association "Macedonian-Bulgarian Friendship" - Skopje, the association "Corridor 8" - Skopje, the association "Interaction" - Ohrid, the association "Edinstvo" - Kocani and PP Civic Democratic Union (GDU).

The delegation will be composed of Ljupcho Georgievski, Georgi Carnomarov, Blagoj Shatorov, Vladimir Perev, Atanas Velichkov, Igor Bilbilovski, Ilija Stojanovski, Aleksandar Dimitrovski, Dimce Petkoski, Georgi Trendafilov and Petar Kolev.
