Some of the new printed textbooks have reached elementary school students

The delivery of textbooks for the first, second, fourth and fifth grades in primary education takes place according to the established dynamics, the Ministry of Education and Science informs.

The delivery of the textbooks under the first printing contract has already been completed, which includes the textbooks for the fourth grade in the Macedonian language and mathematics, in the Macedonian teaching language, and the textbooks in the Turkish language for the fourth and fifth grades, in the Turkish teaching language. The delivery of the textbooks according to the second and third contracts will take place this working week, they state in today's announcement.

As the Ministry adds, it is about 18 textbooks.

In Macedonian teaching language: Macedonian language for first and second grade, mathematics for first grade, natural sciences for first, second and fourth grade, history and society for fourth and fifth grade. In Turkish language of instruction: Turkish language textbook for first and second grade. In Albanian teaching language: mathematics textbook for the fourth grade and Albanian language textbooks for the second, fourth and fifth grades. In the Serbian teaching language: Serbian language textbooks for the second, fourth and fifth grades and a mathematics textbook for the fourth grade, the announcement clarifies.

Immediately after that, the delivery of the textbooks under the fourth contract begins, namely, textbooks for Albanian language and mathematics for the first grade, natural sciences for the first, second and fourth grades and history and society for the fourth and fifth grades, all in the Albanian teaching language.

The new textbooks will also be available on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science, www.e-ucebnici.mon.gov.mk. The Ministry appeals to parents not to make unnecessary expenses and copy textbooks, because printed textbooks will be available to every student free of charge.

Immediately after the printing and delivery of the textbooks for primary education, the printing of several new textbooks for secondary vocational education continues. In the meantime, the Ministry of Education, along with other competent institutions, continuously continues to invest in new curricula and textbooks, because this is one of the basic conditions for a quality educational process, the Ministry emphasizes.
