A frantic search is underway tonight on the banks of the Danube near the Serbian town of Apatin for two children, aged nine and ten, who went missing near an area used by a local kayaking club. The boys P.B. (10) and A.M. (9) were last seen around 14 pm and since then all trace of them has been lost.

Things belonging to the missing children were found on the shore - bicycles and clothes, which caused additional concern, reports "Policy"

In addition to the police, divers have been hired to explore the river and surrounding areas. However, the search conditions are not favorable. Poor visibility and the high water level of the Danube make it difficult for rescuers to search the river quickly and efficiently, Serbian media reports.
