De Licht wants to leave Juventus at all costs and move to Chelsea
The Dutch national team player Matthias de Licht wants to leave Juventus at any cost in the summer transfer window and move to Chelsea. De Licht's contract expires in 2024, but he wants to leave Juventus right now, which has lost its primacy in Italian football.
De Licht's wish to leave was confirmed by the general director of the "old lady" Maurizio Arivabene.
- It is impossible to keep someone who wants to leave. But first it is necessary for all three parties to sit at the negotiating table and be satisfied with the agreement - said Arivabene.
For now, De Licht is far from a transfer to "Stamford Bridge" due to the great demands of Juventus.
The "old lady" first demanded 120 million euros, and then told the leaders of Chelsea that she would be satisfied with 70 million euros and Timo Werner.
Chelsea is ready to give up Werner or Jorginho, but does not intend to pay an additional 70 million euros, but 20 million less.
On the other hand, De Licht himself told the Juventus management that he would accept a transfer only to Chelsea and that he was not interested in the offers of the other teams.
The Dutchman at "Stamford Bridge" should be the new leader of the defense because Antonio Riediger, Andreas Christensen have already left, and Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta are on the way out.
