Denmark will give "Caesar" artillery systems to Ukraine
The Minister of Defense of Denmark, Jakob Eleman-Jensen, announced today that the Government of that country will give Ukraine 19 French-made "Caesar" type artillery systems.
"We talked with the Ukrainians, especially about the Caesar artillery systems, and I am happy that now we have received broad support from the Danish parliament to donate them to the Ukrainian freedom struggle," said Elleman-Jensen.
In December, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked Western leaders meeting in Latvia to deliver a wide range of weapons systems, including Caesar artillery systems.
Denmark will strive to rapidly improve its military capabilities in parallel with the donation, the defense minister added.
Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said today that the country will send about 113 million euros worth of military equipment to Ukraine in its latest aid package for Kyiv in its war against Russia.
British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said today that London will send another 600 Brimstone missiles, which, according to him, will be very important to help Ukraine dominate the battlefield.
