After being positive for the coronavirus yesterday, the second world racket Danil Medvedev will miss the Masters in Monte Carlo. This was announced by the ATP and the organizer of the Masters in Monte Carlo, and the Russian tennis player also announced himself.
- I am disappointed that I will not play in Monte Carlo. My focus now is on recovering from the coronavirus and I want to get back on the field as soon as possible - said Medvedev.

Immediately after the positive test, Medvedev was quarantined and will be treated by the medical team at the Monte Carlo tournament and the ATP.
His place in the individual category will be taken by one of the lucky losers, while in doubles the Russian will be eliminated.
It is interesting that Medvedev's positive test scared Rafael Nadal the most, who had only trained with the Russian before.
