In the fascinating video, which has been viewed by more than 24 million people, an unusual egg in the form of a capsule, which is also called a "mermaid's bag", can be seen, while inside it there is a living creature.
While some sharks give birth to pups, others lay their eggs in rocks or seaweed.
"With the big waves, sometimes they get 'unstuck' and end up on the beach. This is the first time I have ever found an egg with a living creature inside. They are usually empty," says the fisherman in the following video.
@zoo_look_fishing Our little friend is still alive and well! Really hope this little shark survives and we can see it hatch to safely return it to the ocean. #ocean #sharkegg #babyshark #hatch #grow #saveouroceans #savethesharks ♬ Get You The Moon – China
He is currently keeping the egg in a bowl of water with some sand at the bottom.
"Our little friend is still alive and well." I really hope it survives and we get to see it come out so it can be safely returned to the ocean," he said, then continued: "A lot of people have asked me why I didn't just put the egg back in the ocean. If I had done that, the water would have thrown him out again and the shark would have died. "It's been a few days, she's getting stronger, so I hope she survives," he added.
People are amazed by the video. Many admitted that until now they had never had the opportunity to see what a shark egg looked like, nor did they know that sharks can lay an egg.
