The world is entering a deepening crisis that has assumed such monstrous proportions that it already resembles a nightmarish dream in which we are all riding a roller-coaster, or, as we called it in the distant past - a crazy railway, and as in every dream's nightmare, perfectly it is clear to us that the incredible speed that the maddened machine develops will inevitably end in a disaster, with the unfastened carriages coming loose, and we will all be shot somewhere in the dark abyss, where we will tragically disappear until one, but at the same time, we also feel cheerful butterflies in our stomachs as if something unique and unrepeatably beautiful is happening to us, and we hold grimaces of admiration and delight, facial masks whose spasms become more and more icy and resemble death screams...

A man who has no smarter job than to review the world's news media, to compare and evaluate the "facts" that explode and spew shrapnel, all just to gain some kind of rational idea of the events that will decide our fate in the very near future. future, I say, such a vain dengue today not only has no chance of recognizing any reasonable line according to which events will unfold, but can only put himself in the uncomfortable position of doubting his own mental health. And what confuses common sense the most is that at all political events with many meetings of statesmen and announcements of more and more radical and dangerous decisions, measures and policies, on the faces of the speakers there is a grimace of admiration and delight, pride and victorious narcissism... the same kind a mask of smiling death such as was plastered on the faces of the passengers of the freaky carriages of the nightmarish dream described.

This proud, self-righteous and self-indulgent militarist euphoria that blows from the North American continent, then across the Atlantic and the European branch of NATO, and is amplified on the Russian continental plate from the Baltic Sea to Vladivostok, can only be compared to the delight that in the Nazi audience evoked Goebbels' famous speech at the Berlin Sports Palace in 1943. You remember, dear readers, right?

Elem, after the terrible defeat in Stalingrad and in an atmosphere of daily alarm sirens, allied bombing and burning of German cities, Propaganda Minister Goebbels decides that it is necessary to renew the support of the masses for the military policy of the government. He fills the sports hall in Berlin with people, to whom he tells the attitude of English propaganda: "The English claim that the German people are against the government's strategy of total war. The English say that the people do not want total war, that the people want us to surrender." Here the grand master of propaganda makes a dramatic pause in his speech, which causes a strain in the crowded hall, and in that silence Goebbels in a challenging voice, already squeaking, asks: "Do you want total war?!" Everyone in the hall loses their composure and screams: "YES, YES, YES!" Goebbels continues the dialogue: "And if necessary, do you want a war more total and more radical than anything imaginable today?" The crowd rumbles already completely out of control: "YES, YES, YES, YEAH!" Here Goebbels as a charismatic conductor finishes: "Now, people, stand up and let the storm begin!" Everyone roars, exalted and smiling, with their mouths open. : “AAAAAAAAA!” Horror. And those who remember what happened after that, no one in the world listens to them anymore. If you have forgotten this infernal scene, captured on black and white film, you can see it every day in color, in a different interpretation and mise-en-scène, on your home or pocket screens.

What is most disturbing in the explosions of totalitarianism is the almost inhuman non-existence of fear, of that deeply human fear of war, of suffering and destruction, of the sense of fear that outlines the silhouette of normality, of life. What were today's political elites smoking, together with the armies of media and other analysts, advisers and brokers, when they not only feel no fear of the horrors of war and the nuclear holocaust - which we in the 20th century vividly remembered, and shuddered from horror – but also merrily debate its probability by walking the blade of probability and even doing everything they can to approach the edge of the abyss and military cataclysm. And all this, causing the evil fate - in the name of all humanity - those prime ministers and presidents, ministers and general secretaries do with mutual nudges and obscene laughter, with infantilism and lack of understanding of reality that befits 11-year-old children whose life experience is gained only from violent video games.

And no one better described the value of the feeling of fear than Nadezhda Mandeljsham: "When a man is doomed, he no longer has fear. And fear is a thread of hope, fear is the will to live, fear is self-affirmation. Fear is the true European feeling that is nurtured by self-respect, by knowing one's own value, one's needs, rights and desires. One clings to what one has and is afraid of losing it. Fear and hope are closely related. When we lose hope, we also lose fear - we have nothing to fear anymore."

In the planetary crisis in which we find ourselves, the most important thing is to invest all the sobriety, reason and humanity that we can squeeze from our brains and our souls, to find a way out of the trouble, to ensure the survival of civilization. Therefore, I will mobilize all my intellectual capacities to contribute to solving the destiny issues of the planet, issues that determine our Macedonian future. We all understand that the formulation of the referendum question is the most important thing that a Macedonian can produce in favor of the survival of the world and the nation, at a time when the planet is facing an existential crisis. Here, I give my patriotic contribution, the referendum question should read: Are you for Э"%"Ш with 5Ж6<&ЖЗ>Љ? Yes or no??
