The head of Serbian diplomacy, Ivica Dacic, said today that it is clearly written what the Community of Serbian Municipalities represents in the Brussels agreement of 2013 and even more in detail in the 2015 agreement, stating that those agreements are the crown of official Belgrade's participation in the dialogue mediated by the EU .

We signed the Brussels Agreement because it is good for our community at Cosmet. It's not ideal, but in the conditions in which we negotiated it, it's the maximum we could achieve. These are agreements that give our population everything that is in their hands to manage - from economy, development, education, health, to security and police", said Dacic to "Politika".

Dacic, who signed the first Brussels agreement, added that both agreements are the crown of official Belgrade's participation in the dialogue mediated by the EU, which, as he pointed out, they committed to implement.

"There was never a reason not to implement the agreement, except for the persistent refusal of Pristina to implement it and the unlimited tolerance of the western mediators to their destruction", Dacic said and reiterated that the JPA remains the main point of the agreement.
