CUK: Fire in Dolneni - extinguished by a fire-fighting plane
The Center for Crisis Management (CMC) reports that, early this morning, in the atar of the village. A fire broke out in Gostrijni in the Municipality of Dolneni, burning tall dry grass, low-stemmed degraded forest and a belt with tall oak and hornbeam forest.
On the ground are firefighting teams from PE "National Forests" and TPPE Prilep, as well as part of the firefighting forces that were transferred from the previous intervention in the same municipality - from the fire near the village of Slepce.
As air support to the forces operating from the ground, an aircraft - a firefighting aircraft from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue (DZS) was sent to help stop the spread of the fire in the forest area.
