During yesterday, as informed by the Center for Crisis Management (CMC), out of 37 fires in open space registered yesterday, 21 were extinguished, 10 are still active and six are under control.

As the CMC informs, the fire is active in the municipality of Makedonski Brod, where a pine forest is burning. In the municipality of Pehchevo, on the territory of the village of Negrevo, a mixed forest is burning. Low vegetation is burning in the municipality of Novaci.

Low-stemmed vegetation has been burned in the municipality of Resen, on Galicica, spreading in the direction of the Magaro peak towards Stenje, from the Ohrid side.

A pine and beech forest is burning in the municipality of Kichevo, between the villages of Pateec and Kozichino.

The second fire in the municipality of Kichevo is between the villages of Chelopeci and Bigor Dolenci, and the third near Zajas and Gorno Strogomishte - both in mixed forests.

The last one in this municipality, still active, is near the village of Tuin, where an oak forest is burning. Low-stemmed vegetation is burning in the municipality of Plasnica.

An oak forest was burned in the municipality of Kočani, in the territory of the village of Preseka.

Of the fires under control, the statement added, one is at the "Negotino" TPP, where dry grass was burned.

The second is in the territory of the municipalities of Demir Hisar and Ohrid, where low vegetation was burned.

The third is in the municipality of Čaška, a mixed forest was burned.

Two landfills were set on fire, in the territory of the municipalities of Delchevo and Lipkovo. The last fire is under the control of the city landfill in the municipality of Kočani, burning garbage, dry grass and low-stemmed plants.
