Four Skopje citizens accused of disrespecting curfew

The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office - Skopje today submitted to the competent Court proposals for issuing criminal warrants for the crime "failure to act in accordance with health regulations during an epidemic" under Article 206 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

- The defendants, in separate criminal-legal events, did not respect the current curfew and during the ban determined as a measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, they were found moving in different locations. They did not have a license to move, so they were stopped and identified by police officers, the statement said.

The public prosecutors for the defendants proposed to the Basic Criminal Court - Skopje to determine fines of 100 daily fines and the amount of one daily fine to be set at 20 euros in denar counter value.
