A Czech helicopter extinguishes the fire in the atar of Breznica and Taževo

Czech helicopter "Black Hawk" is currently working on the fire in the atar of the village. Breznica and Taževo, a fire that covers a large area and is very difficult to put out, but the hunting ground Jasen was not affected by the fire, said today the director of CMC Stojanche Angelov.
- The problem is that it has to descend to a lower altitude, take off, climb up to more than 1400 meters to pour the water and come back again. Thanks to the brave pilots from the Czech Republic. The fire is in the area of the villages of Taževo and Breznica with a branch towards Jasen, but the Jasen hunting ground is not affected by the fire. The employees in Jasen did not allow the fire to enter the territory of the Jasen hunting ground - said Angelov.
In addition to this fire, he added, we also have the fire on Ilinska Planina which lasts for several days and is extremely difficult to extinguish because it covers a large area and creates black and dark smoke that makes it difficult for aircraft to work.
- The third fire that is unfortunately active at this moment is the fire that started near the Ohrid village of Kosel, which is moving up the mountain and for which we have concentrated more forces early this morning. Thanks to the local self-government, to the City of Ohrid, which is doing its best with the support of the local firefighters and the local population to bring the fire under control, he pointed out.
Unfortunately, added Angelov, the fire that broke out yesterday in the atar of Bogdanci went to the windmills and is still active.
-Early this morning, we sent helicopters there, but due to the strong wind, they were unable to operate - said Angelov.
Angelov pointed out that the fire on the territory of the Municipality of Probishtip in the atar of the village. Zelengrad is still active, although it is partially controlled, but it does not threaten Ponikva and the weekend settlement located there.
He reiterated that four fires are under control - in the Municipality of Kočani near the village of Preseka, in the Municipality of Sveti Nikole near the village of Patetino, in the Municipality of Plasnica, the villages of Plasnica and Latovo, Makedonski Brod and in the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica near the village of Dulica.
Angelov added that yesterday 33 fires were extinguished on the territory of the country
