The Chechen leader says that three thousand more of his fighters are ready to go to Ukraine
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has said that 3.000 more of his fighters are ready to go to fight in Ukraine as part of Russian Defense Ministry units and Russian National Guard forces.
"They (fighters) have the best equipment and modern weapons." In addition, the boys are very combative and highly motivated to achieve results," Kadyrov wrote on Telegram.
For Kadyrov, the war in Ukraine is a bulwark against "Western aggression".
He said in May that Chechnya had sent more than 26.000 fighters to fight in Ukraine as part of Russian forces since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
