
A glass of yogurt with cumin in the morning melts the pounds and regulates cholesterol
People who eat a tablespoon of ground cumin lose weight three times faster than people who are on a diet but do not consume this spice, the study showed.

The experiment involved 100 women who drank a glass of low-fat yogurt with a tablespoon of ground cumin every morning before breakfast. The results showed that they consumed about 400 calories less each day than the group that did not drink yogurt and cumin.
One month later, they noticed that the experimental group had significantly lost weight, averaging 7 kilograms, and their fat content had been reduced by 14 percent.
In addition it helps lower bad cholesterol.
Scientists explain this effect by the fact that cumin contains an abundance of phytospheres, which have the ability to absorb cholesterol, and also contain substances that speed up metabolism.
