The councilors of the Centar Municipality Council today, at an extraordinary session, held at the request of Mayor Goran Gerasimovski, unanimously decided to award financial assistance in the amount of one million denars for the victims and injured in the tragedy in Kocani. The session began with a minute of silence as a sign of respect for the deceased.

Gerasimovski emphasizes that in these moments of great pain, there are no words that can ease the sadness, but there is something we can all do, and that is to be united and help each other when needed most.

The tragedy in Kocani is a huge pain for all of us, I can't even imagine how those families who lost their loved ones are feeling. In these moments of sadness, there are no words that can ease the sadness, but there is something that we can all do, and that is to be united and help each other when it is most needed. The loss is priceless, but human support and togetherness are the ones that can at least slightly ease the burden that these families are carrying. The Municipality of Centar has allocated one million denars for the families of the victims and injured, I call on other municipalities to mobilize as well, we must be in solidarity and united, Gerasimovski emphasizes.

The families and relatives of the victims and injured who are hospitalized in Skopje health facilities can be accommodated and rested free of charge in hotels on the territory of the city of Skopje. This initiative is being implemented with the support of Skopje hotels, and citizens can call the phone number 073 821 120.

The Kisela Voda Municipality Council also held an extraordinary session today, at which a decision was also made for financial assistance of one million denars for the families of the victims of the disco fire.

"This is just a small gesture of support, but in these moments it is very important that we are united, help each other and take care of each other. May all those who lost their lives rest in peace, and may their families find the strength to overcome this immense pain," said Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski.
