Gas prices in Europe are seven percent lower

Gas prices in Europe are lower by seven percent as of today and amount to 730-735 dollars per thousand cubic meters – a decrease below 750 dollars for the first time since February last year, reported the London stock exchange ICE (ICE).

On December 19, European Union countries agreed on a maximum gas price of 180 euros per megawatt hour (about $2.000 per thousand cubic meters at the current exchange rate), and this measure will come into effect on February 15.
