The handball players of Celje Pivovarna Laško started their performance at the jubilee 30th Struga handball tournament with a convincing 20:50 triumph against Butel. This was also the most convincing triumph on the first day of the tournament, previously E. Pelister defeated the host Struga with 27:23, while Vardar lost well to Alkaloid (24:22).

The dilemmas about the winner were resolved already in the first half, in which they started with 10:2, and went to rest with a double-digit advantage (18:8).

In the second half, the handball players of the Slovenian team routinely maintained the advantage while the coach, Toskic, gave a chance to all handball players and in the end they celebrated with 30:20.

In the second round of group B, Celje will play against Alkaloid, while Butel will face Vardar.
