Investing in creating a quality education accessible to every child is our top priority, and part of these processes and efforts is the project "Improving the quality of education" which the Ministry of Education and Science in partnership with GOPA will implement in the next two years. This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska, today at the introductory meeting to start the project.

- We can create quality and inclusive education exclusively with motivated and well-trained teachers. That is the main goal of the project, to improve the education system by investing in the professional and career development of teachers in order to offer comprehensive, quality and inclusive education for all, said Carovska.

The project in this whole process of modernization of the education system in Northern Macedonia is expected to strengthen the system for professional development of teachers and professional associates in accordance with the professional competencies and standards in secondary, ie high school and vocational education. To support the systematic strengthening of the development and implementation of ICT and digital skills and competencies in education, but also something that is very important, to strengthen the implementation of inclusive education in the professional development of teachers, in accordance with the Concept for Inclusive Education, said MES .

The envisaged funds that are from the IPA 2 program for realization of the project are in the amount of 1,3 million euros.
