BuzzFeed plans to use artificial intelligence to create media content
Online media outlet BuzzFeed plans to use artificial intelligence to personalize and increase production of online quizzes and media content, reports The Guardian.
The information was shared with the employees by the executive director Jonah Peretti.
"In 2023, content written with ChatGPT will fundamentally penetrate our business, by improving quizzes, participating in the brainstorming of new ideas and personalizing content for our readers," read the information shared by Peretti.
According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, BuzzFeed will use technology from artificial intelligence company OpenAi. At the same time, Buzzfeed will also use ChatGPT, a chatbot language model that has gained immense popularity due to its success in imitating human communication.

BuzzFeed is not the first news platform to use artificial intelligence. Technology site SeaNet reportedly uses tools to generate posts that are vetted by employees before publication.
This practice was introduced in the media last week, and from there they say that this model is still limited because half of the posts that are generated through artificial intelligence tools have to be checked for errors.
