The president of the Bulgarian Drivers' Association (BOS) Hristo Radkov said that yesterday he was near the Macedonian bus that burned down and in which 46 people died, and 7 survived the accident. According to him, the reasons for the serious accident will remain secret.

"I wanted to see indirectly what we can assume. At the moment we are just guessing, so it will stay until the end, because the bus burned down. If you ask how fast he drove, we can not say. "The tachograph is completely burnt, the bodies are very charred, which means that the driver, even if he had a heart attack - we can not find out, because an autopsy can not be performed," explained the road expert on the air of BulgariaOnAir.

According to Radkov, the accident itself is not so severe, and many victims come from the fire. For him, the big question is what caused the fire.

"Eyewitnesses say they heard an explosion. "The oil did not cause such a fire, something else was burning with it," the BOS president said.

"There are many ways to set a bus on fire, but this is a new bus made of non-combustible materials - something was burning very strongly there," Radkov added.

According to Dimitar Ganchev from the Internet company "Bulgaria", the road itself misleads drivers, because the right guardrail turns at a greater angle than the bend.

"One loses orientation where one is in relation to the right track on the road. Guided by its right border, it errs where the curve begins and ends. Turning starts earlier and is sharper, one wants to cut it, turns and passes very close to the protective fence. "Then the road leads you to turn earlier than you should," Ganchev explained.

"This road was put into operation 15 years ago and since there are no other incidents - it is not on the road," said the president of BOS.

Radkov would direct the investigation to clarify the cause of the fire.

"What caused this big fire?" It can not be from oil. It is very easy to study metal materials that are thicker to understand the fire temperature. "But I very much doubt that anyone will do that," said the road expert.
