Bulgarians from Britain will be convicted of spying for Russia
Five Bulgarians suspected of spying for Russia will be charged with conspiracy to commit espionage, British prosecutors said. BBC.
Orlin Rusev (45), Bizer Zambazov (41), Katrin Ivanova (31), Ivan Stoyanov (31) and Vanya Gaberova (29) will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The Bulgarian nationals are charged with conspiring to collect information that would be useful to the enemy between August 2020 and February 2023.
It follows an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
