Bulgaria calls for negotiations with Russia

Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Yotova called for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine after the Kremlin announced a plan to deploy Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus.

The situation is becoming "more and more dangerous and more terrible", Yotova said and explained that because of this, together with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, she is constantly calling for negotiations.

- These are not empty words, she said.

According to her, Bulgaria wants negotiations because more weapons in all countries leads to unpredictable decisions and now there is a real threat.

– I hope that reason will still prevail. And that in this case it is more about threats than real action, added the vice-president of Bulgaria.
