Kovachevski demanded that Bulgaria respect the rulings from Strasbourg on the unification of the Macedonians

The Bulgarian authorities should respect the decisions of the Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg regarding the registration of parties and organizations of Macedonians in the country, in accordance with European legal norms for the protection of minority rights, and of those citizens who self-determine as Macedonians, Prime Minister Dimitar said today. Kovachevski.
Answering journalist's questions, he said that what is happening in Macedonia should happen in neighboring Bulgaria, where the rights of all minorities are respected.
- There are Macedonians in almost all countries in the world. Just as there are Macedonians in the USA, Germany, so there are Macedonians in Bulgaria, Greece... People who self-determine as Macedonians and they deserve all the rights to express their wishes for self-determination. There are also judgments of the Court of Human Rights that Bulgaria does not implement. I call on the Bulgarian authorities to act accordingly, because the country is a member of the EU, and to respect all the rights of every individual who determines himself differently, Kovacevski said.
