The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, today assessed that the Resolution of the UN General Assembly on Srebrenica represents "a pyrrhic victory and a foul of the great Western powers".

The resolution for the International Day of Remembrance of the Genocide in Srebrenica was adopted yesterday with 84 votes "for", 19 "against" and 68 abstentions.

Brnabic told RTS that Serbia showed how it should fight for its interests and did not allow the Serbian people to be branded.

Everything I am going to say is quite emotional... it will be extremely difficult for me personally to continue working with the countries that were sponsors and co-sponsors of that resolution, she added in a statement to RTS.
