Brnabic with pessimistic prognosis: The number of newly infected with Covid-19 in Serbia today will be catastrophic
Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that today, in absolute numbers, the number of newly infected with Covid-19 "will be catastrophic."
In a statement for TV Prva, Brnabic said that according to the data from eight o'clock this morning, a "new negative and infamous record" will be achieved on the number of newly infected.
"The numbers, from eight o'clock in the morning, are catastrophic, but it is good that the clinical pictures are much milder," said the Prime Minister.
She reminded that more anti-epidemic measures are in force.
"We have measures that, if respected, would have a stable situation," Brnabic said, adding that Serbia had provided all vaccines and drugs.
She also said that a meeting of the Ministry of Education with the medical part of the Crisis Staff will be held today and that she expects their proposal for holding the classes.
