The Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabiќ stated that the consultations of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will begin today for the election of the new prime minister and the new government of Serbia, reported the correspondent of MIA from Belgrade.

The consultations in the SNS will last two days, after which there will be consultations with the other parties, Brnabic pointed out, adding that he expects to know the name of the mandate holder for the composition of the new Government of Serbia in seven to eight days.

According to Brnabic, Serbia still does not have a government because the Parliament has just been constituted, and that the priorities and topics of the new government will remain for the new mandate holder.

Answering journalist's questions in Lapovo about the "Open Balkan" initiative, she stated that it is important that identification cards will be made for the citizens of the countries participating in the initiative - Open Balakan ID cards.

"Those identification cards will serve to cross borders without waiting, to be able to work without any work permit and in this sense, everything becomes a more flexible labor market, which I think will contribute a lot to Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia." I believe that only because of this there will be an additional influx of investments for this region and for these countries, which are members of the initiative. I hope that others will join the initiative," said Brnabic.
