Are Bozadzi reconstructing the streets of Skopje?

What is happening in Skopjevo? Are there laws, penalties, do the municipalities and the City have any power to prevent rampant construction throughout the city, so that there is some order, quality, responsibility...

Which companies are working on the reconstruction of the streets in Skopje and what capacity of builders do they have? Are these people trained, collected from the street, what would be called folk? Do the people overseeing the performance know what they are supposed to be overseeing, or are they waiting for the public to inform them what went wrong with the reconstruction? And finally, in a situation where a large number of construction workers have left, does anyone intend in the tender conditions to ask the firms to submit specifications for the staff that should do the work on the ground?

In the past period, we have witnessed several developments that one simply cannot believe are possible. Kozara Street in Kapishtec was paved twice unsuccessfully and the freshly laid asphalt was removed. Well, first they closed the manholes and drains with asphalt, then the residents raised the alarm, and then the damage was repaired, but after the second attempt, it rained and opened holes in the asphalt! On the new layer, i.e. on finished work. So what kind of asphalt would it be or what were the workers laying? Bakers, bakers, tinsmiths? They are the same ones who are now reconstructing Leninova, because the company also won that tender: Let's see what miracle will happen there.

Metropolitan Teodosij Gologanov boulevard was reconstructed for six months. And instead of waiting for such a long period of time to see a street with pedestrian and bicycle paths, we saw an asphalted sidewalk with a crooked line of trees. That's how they decided to put the concrete curbs around the trees, one in front, one behind, to the right, to the left. Now, after the media made a fuss, they leveled the tree line. Smiles! We are talking about reconstructions that are paid for from the city and municipal budgets, that is, from the money of the citizens. And the citizens always react. What about surveillance? Is he sleeping?

Behind the Universal Hall, an investor who is building, despite the fact that the Municipality of Centar closed his construction site two weeks ago, demolished part of the street. The ban was imposed on him precisely because he did not secure the construction pit with reinforced concrete stakes to protect the neighboring plots. And the street, of course. Now not only has the street collapsed, but there is also damage to the surrounding buildings. He continues to build. Will he pay for the damage done and when? Other than on paper and with yellow tapes, can anyone realistically stop the construction?

Too many questions and too few answers. What is happening in Skopjevo? Are there laws, penalties, do the municipalities and the City have any power to prevent rampant construction throughout the city, so that there is some order, quality, responsibility...

There is no responsibility even among those who exist to serve the citizens and live off the citizens' money. For example, PE "City Parking". The scandal with the disabled woman whose car had blockers installed and had to pay a fine for parking in a place for the disabled in the parking lot of this company, even though she paid properly and the vehicle had markings indicating that it was a disabled person, showed what kind of bottom - the employees of the city enterprise have an image.

No official word to explain the situation, not one. For days - I didn't hear anything. Therefore, the director Krste Petrevski called her and personally apologized to her. After the abuse the woman experienced, the apology must have meant a lot to her. It is shameful and irresponsible to keep the situation quiet. Or does the director give an explanation only to the mayor Danela Arsovska!?

Therefore, the parties used the event to collect political points. At the next session, the Left will call the director of the Public Enterprise "City Parking" to account for this case! And VMRO-DPMNE immediately submitted an initiative to amend the Program for preferential use of parking services in public parking lots and areas intended for parking managed by PE "City Parking" in order for all persons with disabilities to have the same conditions for preferential parking regardless of their location of living. Wow, wow! They themselves know that something like this is difficult to pass because it is a city enterprise, not a state enterprise, but let's "do" something.

There should be accountability, and penalties for any outrageous and arbitrary behavior of public administration employees. Regardless of whether it is a citizen with a disability or not.

Maybe the mayor can do a bit of work on that.
