In the 17th minute of yesterday's derby which ended with a victory for Vardar we saw a big incident when some of the "Committees" entered the field and threw objects towards the tribune of the visiting fans where "Chkembari" were, who had previously thrown torches towards the neutral tribune.

The players of RK Vardar calmed the passions of their fans, and then immediately the police force was on the field to ensure order and peace on the field and in the stands.

The Bosnian also witnessed the chaos. Amel Amidzic which for the portal "Sportsport.ba" told how he experienced those moments.

"Last season, when they played here in Skopje, there was also a fight, only on a smaller scale. Lani Vardar won the title just ahead of Eurofarm Pelister who won here. Then, three rounds before the end, Vardar won in Bitola and won the league. and for that time Građan and Perić played for Pelister.

At first there was a good atmosphere in the hall. The capacity of the hall is over 6.000, and all tickets have been sold. The match started, and Pelister fans were about fifteen minutes late and then entered. When they entered, riots started, firecrackers were set off and torches were thrown at the home fans.

As soon as they entered the stand, they started behaving like hooligans. All drugged, they started shaking and breaking the fence that was placed in front of them. They lit torches and started throwing. I don't know what they had in them, bottles, stones... They threw at the home fans, and they were far from "Komiti" (the most ardent fans of Vardar), so they threw at people, women and children. The "committees" reacted well, as soon as they saw what was happening and that people were in danger, they ran across the field to the away fans," said Amidzic.

18 people were detained in the chaos of the derby between Vardar and Eurofarm Pelister
