The management of Borussia Dortmund hopes to keep Erling Halland for at least another season, but at the same time it is preparing the ground for a certain scenario for parting with the great striker and has started the search for his successor.

Hollande's contract has a clause according to which the striker can leave next summer for only 75 million euros, which is a sum that giants like Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, will have no problem paying.

Because of that, the "millionaires" started searching for Halland's successor and he was found in Benfica. It is about the Uruguayan Darwin Nunez.

Nunez exploded in the Benfica jersey this season and scored 16 goals in 11 games in all competitions.

Apart from Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Milan are also interested in Nunez, but the head of the "millionaires" scouts, Marcus Pilava, has been spotted talking to the footballer's agent, Edgar Lasalvia.

A problem for Borussia Dortmund and other interested teams is the buyout clause which amounts to 150 million euros. Nobody will pay this amount, and for a sum of 100 million euros, Benfica is expected to agree to the sale of Nunez, who has a contract with the Portuguese team until 2025.
