The head of European diplomacy, Joseph Borrell, today he stated that he will travel to Skopje for the meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), but he will not speak with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

Borel explained at today's press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Brussels that he would not like the EU headquarters to remain empty at the OSCE Council. He clarified that he would attend the official dinner, but then he would have to return quickly because of other meetings in Brussels.

The EU's high representative for foreign policy and security announced that the main work on new European sanctions against Russia due to the war in Ukraine has been completed and expressed hope that the corresponding decision will be adopted in December.

"I don't see any signs of fatigue in the EU from the war in Ukraine, everyone is concerned and recognizes the successes of the Ukrainians. We must not allow ourselves to be tired," he commented.

Borel pointed out that the total EU aid to Ukraine has already reached 27 billion euros.
