The legendary Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt envies all athletes who will compete in the upcoming Beijing (China) Winter Olympics, a place where his life "changed in 30 seconds".

Bolt won his first Olympic gold medal in 2008 in the famous "Bird's Nest". As the Winter Olympics open at the same venue this February, the world's fastest man had a message for all athletes.

- I am from Jamaica, I have no experience in winter sports. I do not like cold weather. Apart from athletics, the only sport I played was cricket, and a little football. The Winter Olympics were not my interest. But I want to see what happens in Beijing next month - said Bolt.

The 100m and 200m world record holder says Beijing is where everything has changed for him.

- I still remember the details of the big races. It will always be a special memory. This is where it all started. Those Beijing Olympics changed my life in less than 30 seconds. The fans and the energy in "Bird's Nest" were great. I still do not know how many athletes will represent Jamaica at these Games, but I know how they will feel. There is nothing that can compare to the entrance to the Olympic Stadium and the energy of the audience - are the words of Bolt.
