On the Bojan Jovanovski this morning at the city hospital in Skopje, he is having a surgical intervention to remove stomach, Jovanovski's lawyer, Vladimir Tufegdzic, confirmed for "Sloboden Pechat".

- Jovanovski was admitted for surgery this morning. A team of four doctors will carry out the operation, which is high-risk, as specialist doctors in the field have repeatedly pointed out in specialist reports submitted to the court and the sanctioning authority. All this could have been avoided according to the recommendations of the specialist doctors if the patient had been given the opportunity to implement the mandatory and strict health regime that was impossible in penal conditions and for those reasons the doctors recommended that only with a temporary suspension of the sentence and in home conditions the health condition the patient can be rehabilitated and the surgery that is happening today can be avoided, says lawyer Tufegdzic.

He added to "Sloboden Pechat" that the court rejected the request for a temporary suspension of serving the sentence at the beginning of March.
