At the first meeting between SDSM and Alternative, the basics were discussed, ie the concept, said the member of the Executive Board of SDSM, Stefan Bogoev in tonight's guest appearance on Kanal 5.

He added that proposing a new government also means proposing a new government program. The government program that was adopted last year by the ruling coalition after the July 2020 elections, will now undergo changes, because a new political entity should enter the Government, and that is Alternative and that was the focus of the first meeting, said Bogoev.

According to Bogoev, sessions of the Executive and Central Board of SDSM are being held tomorrow, Alternative has a presidency, and in the meantime the time is used to talk to the coalition partners and get acquainted with the discussions and impressions from the first meeting with Alternative, so that tomorrow to the bodies of both parties, after consulting with the coalition partners, to give the possible green light to continue the talks.

If that positive signal is given, the negotiations will enter the personnel policy, said Bogoev, adding that Alternative has some programmatic things that it considers essential to be part of the parliamentary majority, now the focus is on that, and as soon as they agree those things, will move immediately to personnel discussions.
