Bloomberg: The Pentagon is preparing a new aid package for Kiev worth two billion dollars
Today, the Pentagon will announce a new package of weapons for Ukraine worth more than two billion dollars, officials told Bloomberg.
Funds allocated under the Security Assistance Initiative will be used to purchase Hawk missile launchers and missiles, as well as two types of advanced Patriot air defense missiles.
Air defense is a top priority for Kiev to counter almost daily Russian air and ground attacks with cruise and ballistic missiles on cities as part of a long-awaited counteroffensive.
