The condition of Radushka-Crnogorska Street is a result of the underground works that are being solved in stages in the past three years and in accordance with the funds available to the Municipality, the rest of Radushka Street will be asphalted. For all buildings, for which there is no legalization procedure, the municipal construction inspection has initiated ongoing procedures. This is claimed by the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov after the protests with a blockade on this street by the residents of the streets Znepole, Makedonska Revodba and Gjurcin Kokale.

The citizens of these three streets started yesterday with a four-hour blockade on Crnogorska Street, former Radushka, in the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov, and as they announced, the protests will continue until the authorities together with the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov stop the construction of, as they say, illegal construction on the street and no appropriate charges are filed against the perpetrators.

- The street has been excavated by the public services and has not been repaired for a year, and we are especially revolted and we will protest that the building on the street is under construction without a building permit, ie actions are taken every day for the crime of illegal construction. Article 244-A of the Criminal Code, and due to several other facilities that are already built in the same way for which they should be prosecuted ex officio - the residents explain the reasons for the protest.

The Municipality of Gjorce Petrov explains that improving living conditions, primarily through investments in infrastructure is a top priority of this municipal administration. Reconstruction of Radushka-Crnogorska Street is not left out of the annual work plans of the Municipality, on the contrary, as they say, after 60 years, a thorough reconstruction of this street has been started, which is one of the main arteries connecting Gjorce Petrov with Saraj .

- The largest capital project, which the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov implemented with the City of Skopje through PE "Water and Sewerage" in 2019 was the dislocation of the main pipe F-400 through which water is distributed from the source Rasce to the city. This pipe passed under the foundations of the houses in Gjorce Petrov, where there was a huge danger and the impossibility to intervene in unwanted cases due to the inaccessibility of the terrain, as well as flooding. Instead of under the houses, the new pipe in the length of 1.124 meters is dislocated and its route is just below Radushka-Crnogorska Street. The investor for the project is PE "Water Supply and Sewerage", and the total cost for the realization is 20.026.300 denars - say from the Municipality.

They add that two years ago a collector was constructed for atmospheric sewerage network in Dexion and atmospheric network on Radushka-Crnogorska street in the length of 920 meters, for which 10 million denars were spent, money provided by the municipality through the World Bank. Then, in December last year, a 550-meter-long stretch from Kuzman Shapkarev Street to Panajot Ginovski Street was asphalted and a sidewalk was made for pedestrians, and two "lying policemen" were installed. For this reconstruction, as they say from Gjorce Petrov, 4.400.000 denars were spent from the municipal budget.

- In March, the construction of the underground infrastructure on Radushka Street, second phase, began. F-400 pipes are placed in a length of 400 meters on the move from the last 5 to the intersection at the cemetery. The construction works have been completed, and for this investment the Municipality has allocated 2.400.000 denars. The condition of the street is a result of the underground works that are being solved in stages in the past three years. According to the funds available to the municipality, the finalization of the reconstruction will follow, ie asphalting of the rest of Radushka Street - explained by the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov.

Regarding legalization, the municipal administration has inherited legalization cases covered by the 2011 law, and for all cases for which there is no procedure, the municipal construction inspection has initiated ongoing proceedings.

- Regarding the construction of new buildings, the construction inspection has registered one fencing plot on private land where the attempt to build a building by the land owner was stopped - say from Gjorce Petrov.

They add that the right to protest is guaranteed by the Constitution, so the Municipality supports any kind of peaceful gathering and well-founded expression of public protest.
