Actor and director Dragan Bjelogrlic announced the filming of the third season of "Shadows over the Balkans", one of the most successful series in recent years in the region.

Bjelogrlic wrote on his Instagram profile:

"The shadows of the Balkans are coming again... #Senke 3", and with this announcement he officially announced the beginning of the new season.

The third season should cover the period before the Second World War, and according to some previous speculations, the role of Josip Broz Tito should have Milos Bikovic, transmits Nova.rs.


The first and second seasons of the series were very well received by the audience and critics. The first season of the series was filmed from October 2016 to June 2017, and the second season was filmed from November 12, 2018 to May 2019.

Bjelogrlic played the main role of Inspector Thanet in the series, and is also a producer and director.
