Bizarre TikTok trend: Healthcare workers record their reactions after a patient dies
Social networks are the source of many bizarre things that previously no one would have dared to do, even if they had thought of it. Today, things have changed drastically, and what used to be shameful has become fashionable. The latest trend of "Tick Tok"is health professionals to film themselves after a patient dies.
Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals use this app to show their reaction after the death of a patient. The videos often show visibly upset people crying, nervously walking down the hall or being silent. On some of the records, they publish a text explaining what happened to their patient.
After losing a patient, one nurse said it "never gets any easier", while another health worker noted: "I love what I do and wouldn't choose any other profession, but this area has one of the highest suicide rates, we're overwhelmed."

While there's no denying the fact that working in healthcare is incredibly difficult and maintaining mental health is especially difficult, the trend has drawn sharp criticism on Twitter.
Among other things, they declared TikTok the "most cancerous app ever", but also pointed out that "doctors like this think their life is a movie".
"Patients die and the first thing nurses do is find somewhere in the hospital where they can put their phone, choose music that fits the mood, and record themselves 'grieving' with helpful captions for viewers," wrote one user in the description of a TikTok video, which has garnered over 13 million views.

"When you're emotionally upset over the loss of a patient (rightly so) and then you focus on yourself so that others can see that you're upset, then it's not about the person who died, it's about yourself. It's called narcissism," is another comment.
The rather stormy reactions of the networks forced some users to deactivate themselves from this network or turn off the option of commenting.
