Bosnia and Herzegovina: The murderer who strangled his son and wife is on the run, he left his car near a forest

Police officers from the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska have found the Skoda Fabia car used by Emir Selimović, suspected of the murder of his wife Inela Selimović and their 13-year-old son.

The vehicle was found in the village of Dolna Mravica, but Selimović was not found. He left the car in an uninhabited part of the village, next to a forest, locked, and fled. Police are on the scene searching for the suspect, searching the wider area, they announced. Bosnian media.

Police in the village of Kalesija found the bodies of Selimović's 37-year-old wife, Inela, and their 13-year-old son. According to initial information, they had been strangled. Emir and his wife were in the process of divorcing, but lived in a shared apartment.

The suspected murderer was filmed earlier today at the toll booths on the "9 January" highway. He exited the highway and headed towards the Prnjavor-Čelinac regional road.

In the search for the suspect, police also asked for help from locals and visited houses with video surveillance, in the hope that this would help them locate the fugitive.
