BiH and the "Serbian World": Everywhere, Serbs everywhere!

"Unification of the Serbian World" is an obviously backward, politically provocative project, a fabrication by Vuќi самиот himself, a geographical and who knows what other metaphor, reminiscent of the morbid church-political slogan of the 90s, "Where there is a Serbian grave, there has Serbian land "

I am sitting with my new acquaintance in front of a small, popular cafe near the Sarajevo market. The evening heat suffocates us and we drink cold beer from a bottle, so as not to catch Covid-19 from a glass. The events of the day come from the TV in the cafe. On that day, a memorial service was held in Potocari for 19 other Bosniak men, victims of the Srebrenica genocide. The youngest, Azmir Osmanovic, was not even 16 when he was killed. Another boy, Fikret Kiveriќ, was 17 years old…

"Serbs are suffering from dangerous madness," said an acquaintance of mine. "The madness affected us Bosniaks a little, but not as close as the Serbs. "It takes them too long, the whole history."

I know a little more about that than that good, intelligent man, and I totally agree with him. Let me remind you, this is the madness that Slobodan Milosevic promoted in Gazimestan back in 1989, which two years later naturally transformed into a bloody nationalist reality.

More vampirism of madness?

But just seven days after the shocking, disturbing scenes from Potocari in Belgrade, with the appropriate political ritual, the same madness becomes more vampiric. This time, its promoter was the insane Aleksandar Vulin, the Minister of Police in the Government of Serbia and leader of the Socialist Movement. Speaking at the celebration of the movement's thirteenth anniversary at the цаumica Sports Center, Vulin euphorically praised the recently promoted idea called "Serbian World".

As he said, the new all-Serbian movement will take care of every Serb, wherever he lives. Vulin sees the "Serbian world" as a "political and state space" that should be achieved without a shot. A precondition for that is for Serbs to gather and respect Belgrade's decisions. He described it as the main task of today's generation of Serbs and in the end almost ultimately called on Vucic to run for president of Serbia again, because the Socialists "do not trust others, nor will they trust them".

Vulin has long been declared the biggest hawk among politicians in the region, but this time the fox finally ran out of the bushes and announced the far-reaching goals of the Serbian right. Thus, everyone was informed that the majority in Serbia is still ruled by the spirit of the 90s of the last century and that the "Greater Serbia" project has not been abandoned.

Needless to say, at the moment the first policeman of the neighboring country usually tells the Serbian public what the political pelivan Vuќi мис thinks.

 Expensive paid fraud

"Unification of the Serbian World" is an obviously backward, politically provocative project, a fabrication by Vuќi самиот himself, a geographical and who knows what other metaphor, reminiscent of the morbid church-political slogan of the 90s, "Where there is a Serbian grave, there "there is Serbian land." That stupid, completely irrational slogan under which the conquest campaign for the unification of "all Serbian countries" was launched, caused the apocalyptic disintegration of the common state, made millions unhappy, and the Serbs ultimately suffered a historic defeat.

But, as if that expensive adventure is not enough warning for those who think that a similar plan, this time in the variant of peace, can be realized. Idiocy is the very thought that some new leaders of Greater Serbia, embodied in Vucic and Vulin, should appropriate their right to care for every Serb in this world.

Milosevic's ambitions were a little smaller, and we know how it ended. Chetnik leader Vojislav Seselj established the western border of the imaginary state of "all Serbs" on the Karlobag-Karlovac-Virovitica line. The plan failed, Serbs in Croatia today form a politically negligible minority, Seselj triumphantly returned from The Hague and became a favorite guest on state television and leading newspapers, giving him the opportunity to lure Serbs into a new fairy tale for years, claiming lost territories in Croatia. will be returned. The "Serbian world" is no less a deception than the one Seselj insists on.

However, it is difficult to say how serious and unserious this latest political plot is. The fact is that the idea of a "Serbian world", if consistently realized, implies a change in the borders of the Balkans and, as such, poses a threat to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the aggressive performance of the bad cop Aleksandar Vulin, Mirjana Markovic's former youth, it is easy to recognize the thesis of interdependence between Kosovo and Republika Srpska, according to which the loss of Kosovo must be compensated by the secession of Karadzic's work.

That is why Vuќi изгледа seems unconvincing when, shyly denying his interior minister, he said: "Our official policy is that Serbia's borders are inviolable and Belgrade does not deal with other people's borders." His military past is extremely unpopular, Kosovo hangs around him. Europe and America do not forgive him for denying the Srebrenica genocide, and the democratic world sees him as a dictator who stifles media freedom, hates NGOs and the opposition, and now Officer Vulin, Vucic's interpreter, has opened a new front against him. That is too much for the fluttering president of Serbia, who behaves as if the sea is up to his knees.

One of the first reactions to the "Serbian World" nebula was Natasa Kandic's proposal for the international community to thicken the borders of the existing Balkan countries with a red line. As expected, the sharpest reactions came from Sarajevo: "The blood of the martyr and the truth will be saved by BiH," said Bakir Izetbegovic, while Sefik Dzaferovic threatened everyone who attacked BiH that they would "break their teeth" on it. This is not who knows how wise politics is, but obviously, there is no better.
