Berlin: The Minsk agreements are the basis for resolving the Donbas conflict
The German Foreign Ministry has identified the Minsk agreements as the basis for resolving the Donbas conflict. Thus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin responded to the words of Leonid Kravchuk to change the form of negotiations, writes the Russian newspaper "Moscow Komsomolets", quoted by "Focus".
"Germany, together with France, continues to make efforts in the Normandy format to make further progress in implementing the decisions of the Paris Summit. "The full implementation of the Minsk agreements remains a leading thread in our efforts," the ministry said.
Kravchuk, who is currently heading the country's delegation to the Donbas Contact Group, speaking of the Minsk talks, said Ukraine could refuse to continue them.
He also noted that Ukraine could finally establish its position on the Minsk agreements after the Russia-US summit and Presidents Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.
