Singer Beni Shaqiri is a candidate for mayor of the City of Skopje from the coalition of LDP and DOM, and the microbiologist Nikola Panovski is the holder of the councilor list.

Today, they were promoted by LDP and DOM, which will run together in the elections under the slogan "Determined for change".

Shaqiri said at the promotion that the motive for joining the race for mayor of Skopje is that he feels betrayed by how the city has been run for the past four years.

- As a citizen of the City of Skopje, I am personally betrayed. So, I think we should all try together to do at least something that can make us succeed in making this city dignified for life. I do not like the situation today at all and that is exactly my motive to get involved in this process, even if he lost. But, of course, each of us goes further, goes forward and tries to come to victory, said Shaqiri.

LDP leader Goran Milevski said that these are people who are extremely valued in their profession, people with authority and honest and sincere citizens of Skopje.

- These are people who will work in the interest of the citizens, who will put the interest of Skopje first and foremost. People who will unite, said Milevski.
