Russian hackers have attacked government and parliamentary websites in Belgium, including that of Prime Minister Alexandre de Croix, local media reported.

The sites were down or had difficulty loading for several hours yesterday afternoon.

The group "NoName057(16)" (NoName057(16)), which previously tried to shut down Belgian official websites, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The group stated that its actions are related to the aid that Belgium provides to Ukraine.

According to the Belgian cyber security services, hacker attacks have become more frequent in recent months.
