Begaj on Monday to Kosovo, in his first official visit to a country as president of Albania
The new president of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj will visit Kosovo on Monday, August 15, at the invitation of his Kosovo colleague, Vjosa Osmani, which will be his first official visit to a country after assuming the post of head of Albania on July 24 this year, reported the MIA correspondent from Pristina.
As Osmani's cabinet announced, she invited Begaj to visit Kosovo, on the occasion of the beginning of his term as president of Albania.
According to the agenda, on Monday morning, Begaj will be welcomed by Osmani with high state honors in the square, after which the two presidents will have a bilateral meeting, after which they will make statements to the media.
During his stay in Pristina, Begaj is expected to have meetings with other leaders of Kosovo's institutions.
Bajram Begaj, born in 1967, by profession a professor and specialist in medicine, also engaged in the Albanian army, was elected by the Assembly of Albania as the President of the Republic on June 4, and the duty from his predecessor, Ilir Meta took over on July 24.
