At a solemn ceremony, which took place on March 6 at the "Marriot" hotel in Skopje, the winners of the awards of the second BEAM Festival of the best events were announced.

The event industry association IVAP organized the second edition of the BEAM Festival, which emerged as a need to map the event industry and valorize the work of professionals. The festival recognizes creative ideas and events, but also emphasizes the importance of events in society.

BEAM celebrates the creativity, uniqueness, innovation and hard work of all actors in the event industry.

– For the second year, BEAM recognizes the best events. This festival shows that events are important for culture, for business, for the non-governmental sector, for state and public institutions, for sports, literally for every segment of society. That is why it is important that they are valued.

BEAM makes a cross-section of the past year and encourages a competition in order to raise the creativity and quality of the events. It is important to all of us who work in the event sector. Through it we get to know each other, learn from each other, exchange experiences - points out Maja Babic, team leader of the BEAM festival.

A special recognition of BEAM was given to the Air Show event "100 years of Macedonian aviation" of Aeroclub Skopje, as recognition for celebrating a significant anniversary.

According to predetermined and publicly announced criteria and rules, the received applications were evaluated in several categories. The commission for awarding the awards by secret ballot was composed of: Ana Zafirova – freelance journalist and communications expert; Aneta Andonova – editor-in-chief of the First Program Service of MRT; Boris Eftimovski – founder of "Marketing 365"; Branko Ilievski – sports journalist; Vardan Tozia – film director; Vasilka Salevska Trajkova – external affairs manager at "Philip Morris"; Dejan Projkovski – director; Dušan Marković – corporate marketing and PR director at "Maliqi Group"; Kire Sinadinovski – director of "Tag Timing"; Kosta Petrov – founder and executive director of "Pi World"; Maja Naumovska Saveska – director of corporate and marketing communications of "Halkbanka"; Marta Naumovska Grnarova – general manager of "Zavar"; Milcho Alexandrov – light master; Mite Dimovski – composer and music producer; Natasha Bozinovska Mirkova – executive director of "Representative Communications"; Tatiana Loparski – executive director of "Element PR"; Tony Dimkov – journalist; Ognen Janeski – TV personality, author and moderator; Risima Risimkin – choreographer, artistic director of "Dance Fest Skopje"; and Lara Cashule - director of customer service at "Mekken" - Skopje.
