Barcelona wants to take revenge on PSG and steal their defender
The management of Barcelona, headed by president Joan Laporta, is the most active in the transfer market, bringing five reinforcements, but it does not plan to stop there and wants to refresh the defense with the PSG footballer, Ashraf Hakimi.
Laporta wants to take revenge on PSG because in 2017 he took Neymar from him by paying the buyout clause of 222 million euros, and last summer the "saints" picked up Lionel Messi who had to leave Barcelona due to the club's financial problems.
According to the TV show "El Chiringito", Laporta plans to take revenge on PSG by forcing Hakimi to request a transfer, and then he would bring him to Camp Nou with an offer of around 60 million euros.
A big problem for Laporta could be that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is a tough negotiator who rejected Real Madrid's €190 million for Kylian Mbappe last summer and then managed to convince the striker to sign a new three-year contract.
On top of that, PSG have a contract with Hakimi until 2026 and the question is whether he would fall under Laporta's blackmail.
On the other hand, the first man of Barcelona made several excellent transfers this summer, he brought Robert Lewandowski from Bayern, Gilles Kunde from Sevilla and Rafinha from Leeds for which he paid 153 million euros, while he brought Frank Kesey and Andreas Christensen for free.
