The American president Joseph Biden will tell the US Congress and the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump that Washington should not turn its back on Ukraine because it could encourage new instability in Europe, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said today.

- President Biden will make a strong case that we need continued funding for Ukraine after his term ends, Sullivan said in an interview with CBS News.

Sullivan said Biden will discuss top US domestic and foreign policy priorities with President-elect Donald Trump when they meet at the White House on Wednesday.
